Borges wins Botanical Society research award
EEB graduate student Isabella Borges, a PhD candidate advised by EEB core faculty member Sarah Fitzpatrick in integrative biology, received the $500 J.S. Karling Graduate Student Research Award from the Botanical Society of America (BSA) and the $1,500 Bill Dahl Graduate Student Research Award.
Her winning proposal was "The effects of plant inbreeding on the legume-rhizobia mutualism."
