Research Symposium

The EEB Grad Group (EGG) organizes an annual Research Symposium immediately following the end of the spring term where students, postdocs, and faculty have the opportunity to present their research. The all-day event features an external keynote speaker and oral and poster presentations from EEB members. The symposium is held at MSU’s Henry Center near the main campus and includes a catered lunch, coffee breaks, and a happy hour gathering at the day's end. 

The 10th EEB Research Symposium will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Registration is now open. Grad students, postdocs, faculty and staff are encouraged to present. Options include a 15-minute presentation, a 5-minute lightning talk, or a poster. Presenters please sign up at this link by Friday, Jan. 16. If you plan to attend but won’t be presenting, please sign up here by March 15.
