Graduate Recruitment

EEB coordinates with member departments to sponsor events at “Recruitment Weekend”, which takes place annually during the first weekend of February (Thursday and Friday) when some affiliate departments organize activities for prospective MSU students. During Recruitment Weekend, EEB hosts: 1) a casual dinner gathering at an EEB faculty member’s house and 2) a wine and cheese party at MSU’s Plant Conservatory. The recruitment events are well-attended by current students, postdocs, and faculty and allow prospective students to socialize with EEB members from many departments and career stages. All prospective EEB students at MSU are welcomed and encouraged to attend these events.
