Envision EEB: Graduate Program Preview Weekend

EEB Envision Program Header

The second MSU Envision EEB program was held on September 16-17, 2022 in person on MSU's campus. Prospective students had the opportunity to visit main campus and tour the Kellogg Biological Station. Stay tuned for more info...

What is Envision EEB?

Envision EEB: Graduate Preview Weekend at Michigan State University is an event created to ameliorate disparities in access to graduate education in biological science for historically excluded minorities. The weekend will provide students from underrepresented backgrounds information on the graduate application process, how to apply for grants and/or fellowships to fund their graduate research (e.g., NSF GRFP and the Ford Foundation Fellowship), and an early opportunity to network with potential advisors. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet MSU faculty, postdocs, and current graduate students in EEB.

How Can I Find Out More?

Full details on the event including the agenda and speakers can be found at the event's website including additional information on how to apply.

Questions can be directed to EEB's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) committee co-chairs: Toby Santamaria and Sarah Fitzpatrick.
