PhD candidate explores intersection of science and faith

Veronica Frans is a PhD candidate in both Fisheries & Wildlife and the Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior Program. Her studies focus on human influence on species’ distributions. For her research, she has lived, studied and worked around the world, focusing on marine environments, community engagement, and conservation.
She reflects on both her scientific journey, as well as her evolution as a Christian and how faith intersections with science in BioLogos. BioLogos was founded by one of the top biologists in the world, Francis Collins. He led the Human Genome Project and now directs the National Institutes of Health.
